MotoGP 2027Aprilia Racing MotoGP 2027: Bagnaia and Bezzecchi in an Italian Factory Duo
Aprilia Racing enters the 2027 MotoGP season with one of the most talked-about line-ups on the grid. Two-time champion Francesco Bagnaia joins Marco Bezzecchi at the Noale factory team. Here is what we know about the squad, the new rules and how to book your trip to watch Aprilia Racing at a Grand Prix.
Aprilia Racing MotoGP 2027: the Noale factory team
Aprilia Racing is the factory squad of Aprilia and is based in Noale, Italy. As a works team it develops its own bike and engine package, and it also supplies machinery to a customer-style outfit, Trackhouse, based in Concord, North Carolina.
That gives Aprilia two entries on the grid and a transatlantic flavour that few manufacturers can match. For fans in Europe, the Italian factory remains the heart of the story.

Francesco Bagnaia, born on 14 January 1997 and racing with number 63, is a two-time MotoGP champion, winning in 2022 and 2023. His move to Aprilia for 2027 was announced on 25 June 2026 and is one of the headline transfers of the year.
Marco Bezzecchi: Aprilia Racing's race winner
Marco Bezzecchi, born on 12 November 1998 and racing with number 72, won the 2026 Indonesian Grand Prix on the Aprilia. He is already comfortable with the machine, which could give Bagnaia a useful benchmark inside the garage.
The 2027 rules and what they mean for Aprilia Racing
From 2027 MotoGP moves to 850 cc engines with a 75 mm bore and 20-litre fuel tanks. Fuel will be 100% sustainable, ride-height devices will be banned and Pirelli will be the only tyre supplier, with an agreement lasting until 2031. The weekend also gets a new Sprint qualifying format.
Every manufacturer starts from a reset, so Aprilia Racing's first test sessions will be closely watched. The Sepang shakedown on 29 and 30 January 2027 and the Sepang test on 31 January and 1 February come first, before the season launch in Rio de Janeiro on 21 February.
