WRC 2027 calendar: all 15 rallies, dates and where to watch

The WRC 2027 calendar was confirmed in October 2026 and contains 15 rounds, opening with Rallye Monte-Carlo in January and ending in Saudi Arabia in November. This hub lists every rally with its dates and base, explains what is new for the WRC27 era and helps you choose which event to visit.

WRC 2027 calendar: the 15-round season at a glance

The WRC 2027 calendar was confirmed in early October 2026 and has 15 rounds running from January to November. It takes in snow in Sweden, gravel in Kenya, Greece, Finland and South America, and asphalt in Croatia, the Canary Islands, Japan and Italy. Every round is currently listed as confirmed.

There are some notable changes. Rally Portugal is absent from the schedule, and Rally di Roma Capitale replaces Sardinia as the Italian round. Rally USA returns as the first American round since 1988, Rally Scotland is the first British round in eight years, and Rally Saudi Arabia is back after the 2026 edition did not take place.

Itineraries are not yet published for most events, so stage details on our event pages are cautious until the organisers release them. For a wider view across series, see the Motorsport calendar 2027.

WRC 2027 rules and manufacturers: the WRC27 era

What changes with WRC27 in 2027

The WRC27 regulations replace the current Rally1 cars with a Rally2-based formula that uses optional WRC Kits. Only cars built to the WRC27 rules will score manufacturer points, so the technical picture of the 2027 season will differ from the one we know now.

Who is on the WRC 2027 entry list so far

Toyota Gazoo Racing is confirmed and is developing its WRC27 car. M-Sport Ford is moving to a Rally2-based kit car, and two newcomers are listed: WRT Rally1 Spain / RMC Motorsport, due to debut in 2027, and a Belgian-backed entry known as Project Rally One, which is not yet official. Hyundai is not listed and its participation is unconfirmed.

No 2027 driver line-ups are confirmed, so we publish no names for next season. Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin won the 2026 drivers' title and Toyota won the manufacturers' crown, while Sébastien Ogier and Vincent Landais took the 2025 title at Rally Saudi Arabia.

How a WRC 2027 rally works for spectators

Every round on the WRC 2027 calendar spans four days, and each rally is a sequence of timed special stages linked by public roads, with a base town or city where the service park and ceremonies take place. Drivers set off one at a time, so the action is spread out rather than packed into a single grid start.

That format has practical consequences for fans. You can watch from a single spot and see the whole field pass in turn, or move between stages if the organisers allow it. Spectators must stay in the designated zones, follow marshals' instructions and arrive early, because roads close before the first car. Dress for the terrain, from snow in Sweden to dust in Kenya and Greece, and carry water and food.

Timetables and itineraries have not been published, so treat any stage list as provisional until the organisers release the official programme.

Choosing a WRC 2027 rally to visit

Best WRC 2027 rallies for first-time spectators

Different rallies suit different travellers. Rally Finland is famous for its fast gravel and has a spectator hub at the Harju stage in Jyväskylä, while Rallye Monte-Carlo offers mountain stages and unpredictable conditions. Rally Sweden is the winter option on snow roads.

New WRC 2027 events worth a closer look

If you like to be early, Rally USA, Rally Scotland and Rally di Roma Capitale are new or returning in 2027 and have less history to draw on. Details such as stage routes and spectator maps are not out yet, so be prepared to wait for the official information.

Tickets, spectator information and WRC 2027 travel planning

Rallies work differently from circuit races. Many stages are on public roads, and spectator access is organised through designated zones, so ticketing and rules vary by event. We will post a ticket button on the relevant page when sales begin, and the live categories and prices will appear there automatically.

Until then, the best preparation is to pick one or two events, check visa and travel rules and note that accommodation near popular rallies fills up very early. Our Motorsport travel guides 2027 help with the practical side, and the F1 and motorsport tickets 2027 page explains how ticket categories and resale generally work. You can always return to the Motorsport 2027 homepage to compare with other championships.
