Rally Sweden 2027 dates and place in the WRC

Rally Sweden 2027 takes place from 18 to 21 February 2027 and is round two of the WRC 2027 calendar. The 2026 rally ran from 12 to 15 February, so next year's event is about a week later. The base is Umeå. The itinerary has not been released.

The event comes after Rallye Monte-Carlo and ahead of Safari Rally Kenya, which gives the season a sharp change of surface. The full order is on our WRC 2027 calendar.

Why Rally Sweden is a snow specialist

Rally Sweden is run on snow roads, and speeds are high because the surface is smooth and the corners are often wide. Studded tyres bite into the snow and ice, and the banks of snow at the roadside act as a natural barrier.

The 2027 itinerary has not been published, so we cannot name stages. We will update this page when the organiser releases the route. In the meantime, expect the same winter character as in previous years.

Spectating at Rally Sweden 2027

Spectator zones are on snow roads north of Umeå. Dress for extreme cold, with layers, insulated boots and a hat, and use official shuttles and parking where they are offered. Do not stray from designated areas, since marshals close roads and cars come through quickly.
