The WEC 2027 calendar lists nine rounds across four continents, opening in Qatar in March and closing in Bahrain in November, with the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 12-13 June at its heart. Here are the dates, the venues, what is still to be confirmed and how to plan your trips.
The WEC 2027 calendar at a glance
The FIA World Endurance Championship 2027 season is made up of nine rounds, announced during the 24 Hours of Le Mans weekend in June 2026. It is a truly global programme: the Middle East, Europe, South America, North America and Japan all feature, and the order runs from a night race in Lusail to a season finale in Sakhir.
The table below gives the weekend dates for every round. The last date in each row is the race day. All nine rounds currently carry a confirmed status, but timetables have not been published, so treat session times as unknown until the organisers release them a few weeks before each event.

How the WEC 2026-27 season is shaping up
The WEC 2026-27 story cannot be separated from a disrupted 2026. The Qatar and Bahrain rounds planned for this year were cancelled because of the regional situation, and the championship replaced them with races at Barcelona on 18 October and Monza on 8 November. Both of those races are still to come at the time of writing, so the 2026 title fight is not settled.
In the Hypercar standings, the Toyota #8 crew of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa lead the drivers' table. Porsche withdrew its factory team from the championship in 2026, which changes the shape of the grid. The reigning champions from 2025 are James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi in the Ferrari run by AF Corse, who also took the manufacturers' title for Ferrari. In LMGT3, the team title went to Manthey 1st Phorm.
Why does this matter for your 2027 plans? Because the two Middle East rounds are exactly the ones affected this year. They are both on the 2027 calendar, but if you are planning to travel to Lusail or Sakhir, check the situation again before booking flights. We flag this clearly on the Qatar 1812 km and 8 Hours of Bahrain pages.
Choosing a race from the WEC 2027 calendar
Few fans will attend all nine rounds, so it helps to choose by the kind of weekend you want. Here is a quick guide to the different flavours of endurance racing on the calendar.
The classic WEC 2027 trip: Le Mans
The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the centrepiece of the season and the 95th edition. It is a festival as much as a race, with camping, a night-time atmosphere and a full day-and-night cycle on track. If you only go to one round, this is the one most people choose, and it needs the earliest planning.
Easier WEC 2027 weekend breaks in Europe
The six-hour races at Imola, Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps are shorter and more flexible. They suit a two- or three-day trip, and Spa is the traditional preparation round before Le Mans. Silverstone marks the first WEC visit there since the 2019-20 season, which makes it an interesting choice for British fans.
Long-haul endurance 2027 adventures
São Paulo, Austin and Fuji take the championship overseas. Lone Star Le Mans in Texas and the Japanese round at the foot of the mountain are rare chances to see the same cars in a very different setting. The night race in Qatar and the season finale in Bahrain complete the picture for those who like a longer journey.
Hypercar entries for WEC 2027: what is confirmed
The Hypercar class is where the headlines are, but the 2027 entry list is far from final. Two manufacturers are confirmed for 2027: Ford and McLaren. McLaren's car has been listed under the name MCL-HY; further details for Ford, including the team, are still to be announced.
Several other brands appear in the expected line-up but are not yet confirmed for 2027: Toyota, Ferrari, Peugeot, BMW, Cadillac, Alpine, Aston Martin and Genesis. Treat those as provisional until the championship publishes its official entry list. We do not list any 2027 drivers here, because none have been confirmed for the new season.
The entry list usually firms up closer to the opening round. Our e-mail alert will tell you when the line-up is confirmed, so you can plan which weekend to attend with the cars and crews you most want to see.
Endurance 2027 travel and ticket planning tips
Ticket sales are not open yet for most of these rounds, and prices are shown automatically by our partner ticket sellers on each event page via the Tickets button. We do not quote amounts on this page, but we can offer some advice that applies to every round.
- Book the big one first. Le Mans accommodation and camping are in demand long before ticket sales start, so decide early whether you are going.
- Link rounds on one trip. The Imola and Silverstone weekends are only two weeks apart, and Spa follows a few weeks later, so a European spring tour is possible.
- Check the status of long-haul rounds. Dates for São Paulo, Austin and Fuji are confirmed, but flights and visas should be booked with flexible terms where possible.
- Read the guides. Our Motorsport travel guides 2027 cover accommodation, access and what to pack, and the Le Mans 24 Hours camping 2027 guide goes deeper on staying at the circuit.
