MotoGP 2027MotoGP Teams 2027: Every Squad, Confirmed Rider and Factory Base in One Place
The 2027 MotoGP grid has 11 teams from five manufacturers, a wave of rider moves and a new 850 cc rulebook. This page lists every squad, shows which line-ups are confirmed and which are still open, and explains how to turn that knowledge into a better trip to a Grand Prix.
MotoGP teams 2027: the 11 squads at a glance
Five manufacturers share the grid: Ducati, Aprilia, Yamaha, KTM and Honda. Each has a factory team and also backs at least one other outfit, with Ducati supplying two. In total that makes 11 entries: five factory squads and six independent or satellite teams.
Ducati is represented by the Ducati Lenovo Team, BK8 Gresini Racing and Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing. Aprilia has Aprilia Racing and SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP. Yamaha fields Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP and Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP, KTM runs Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and Red Bull KTM Tech3, and Honda races as Honda HRC Castrol and Castrol Honda LCR.

Nine of the 11 teams have a confirmed two-rider line-up. Honda HRC is partial and LCR Honda is still to be confirmed.

The Ducati Lenovo Team pairs Marc Marquez with Pedro Acosta. Gresini lines up Joan Mir and Daniel Holgado, while VR46 has Fermin Aldeguer and Nicolo Bulega. At Aprilia Racing, Francesco Bagnaia joins Marco Bezzecchi, and Trackhouse fields Enea Bastianini and Raul Fernandez.
Yamaha and KTM MotoGP teams
The Yamaha Factory Racing garage welcomes Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura, with Pramac Yamaha running Toprak Razgatlioglu and Izan Guevara. At KTM Factory Racing, Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio share the factory colours, with Luca Marini and Senna Agius at Tech3.
Honda MotoGP teams: line-ups still open
Honda HRC has confirmed Fabio Quartararo only. The second factory seat and the LCR Honda riders are not confirmed, so we avoid naming anyone.
What the new rules change for MotoGP teams
The 2027 regulations are a full technical reset. Engines drop to 850 cc with a 75 mm bore, fuel tanks hold 20 litres, fuel must be 100% sustainable and ride-height devices are banned. Pirelli becomes the sole tyre supplier under a five-year deal until 2031, and a new Sprint qualifying weekend format arrives.
Resets reward teams that adapt quickly, so winter testing will matter. The Valencia test is on 1 December 2026, the Sepang shakedown takes place on 29 and 30 January 2027, the Sepang test follows on 31 January and 1 February and the Buriram test on 6 and 7 February. The season launch is on 21 February in Rio de Janeiro.
