F1 teams 2027: every constructor, engine and confirmed driver

Eleven constructors are listed on the 2027 grid, including Audi and Cadillac, the two newest entries. This guide shows who supplies each engine, where each team is based, which drivers are confirmed and which seats are still open, with links to a dedicated page for every team.

F1 teams 2027: the eleven-team grid

The 2027 entry list holds eleven teams: Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull Racing, Aston Martin, Alpine, Williams, Audi, Cadillac, Haas and Racing Bulls. Audi and Cadillac both made their debut in 2026, and Cadillac is the first completely new team since Haas arrived in 2016.

The season itself is covered on our F1 2027 calendar page, with 24 Grands Prix from March to December, and the Motorsport calendar 2027 shows how that fits alongside other series.

Engine suppliers behind the F1 2027 teams

Works teams and F1 teams 2027 engine partners

Four manufacturers are tied to the grid. Mercedes powers its own team plus McLaren, Alpine and Williams. Ferrari supplies its own cars, Haas and Cadillac. Audi builds its own power unit, designed in Neuburg, Germany. Red Bull Ford provides engines for Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls, while Aston Martin works with Honda.

Why the engine matters for F1 2027 fans

Engine partnerships shape strategy, reliability and the way a team develops through the season. They also link teams together: a Ferrari-powered Haas or a Mercedes-powered McLaren shares much of its technology with the manufacturer, so a manufacturer's strong year often lifts its customers too.

Bases and history of the F1 teams 2027

Most teams are in Britain: Mercedes in Brackley, McLaren in Woking, Red Bull Racing in Milton Keynes, Aston Martin at Silverstone, Alpine in Enstone and Williams in Grove. Italy is represented by Ferrari in Maranello and Racing Bulls in Faenza. Audi works from Hinwil in Switzerland, and Haas operates from Kannapolis, North Carolina. Cadillac lists Fishers, Indiana as its base, with the race team and chassis at Silverstone.

History runs deep. Ferrari has raced since 1950 and holds 16 constructors' titles, while McLaren (10 titles) and Williams (9) are among the most decorated names in the sport. Mercedes has 8 titles, Red Bull Racing has 6, and the newer entries are still chasing their first.

Open seats in the F1 2027 line-ups

Haas and Racing Bulls still list both of their 2027 seats as to be announced. We do not guess who will fill them: as soon as a team confirms its drivers, the relevant page is updated and alert subscribers are notified.

This matters for ticket buyers too. If you want to see a particular driver, wait for confirmation before choosing a team to follow, but do not wait too long for the races themselves, as popular grandstands tend to sell first.

Seeing the F1 teams 2027 live at a Grand Prix

Every team attends every round, so any race lets you see the whole grid. Pre-season testing in Bahrain on 24 to 27 February 2027 is the first chance to see the new cars, and the season opens at the same circuit on 14 March. Plan around the circuit you like rather than a single team, check the Motorsport travel guides 2027 for logistics, and read the F1 and motorsport tickets 2027 answers before booking.
