How the F1 2027 season is shaped
An early run of flyaway races in the F1 2027 calendar
The first six rounds take you from the Gulf to Australia, Japan, China and Florida within about seven weeks. That is a demanding start for teams and a good moment for fans who want warm weather and the freshest cars. Booking flights early matters here, because the venues are far apart.
The European summer block in the F1 2027 season
From Montreal in late May the focus shifts to Europe. Monaco, Portimao, Silverstone, Spielberg, the Belgian round and Hungary come in a tight sequence between June and early August, which makes a multi-race road trip realistic if you plan accommodation early. Then comes a short summer pause before Monza opens the autumn leg on 5 September.
The long autumn finale of the F1 2026-27 championship
September to December is the busiest stretch: Madrid, Baku, Istanbul, Singapore, Austin, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi. Three of the last five rounds sit in the Americas, and the season ends in the Gulf, so the title can be decided a long way from Europe.
Choosing your F1 2027 Grand Prix
With 24 options, the right race depends on what you want from the weekend. A few honest rules of thumb help.
- First time at a race: pick a circuit with good public transport and plenty of general-admission space. Our First F1 Grand Prix 2027 guide explains what to expect on the day.
- Classic atmosphere: Silverstone and Monza are known for passionate crowds and long traditions, while Monaco offers a unique, compact street-circuit experience.
- City break plus racing: Melbourne, Montreal, Singapore, Madrid and Las Vegas all combine a race with a full destination trip.
- Weekend of hospitality: if you want lounges and food included, read the F1 hospitality 2027 overview before you compare categories.
Think also about distance and time zones. A race in your own region saves long flights and leaves budget for a better seat.
Tickets for the F1 2027 season: when and how to buy
Ticket sales do not open on the same day everywhere. Some events start selling many months ahead, others release categories in waves. Our alert system exists for exactly this reason: subscribe above and we will tell you when a race you care about goes on sale.
Understand ticket categories for F1 2027 races
Most circuits offer general admission, grandstand seats and hospitality packages. General admission is the most flexible, grandstands give you a fixed view and shelter in some cases, and hospitality adds food, lounges and sometimes paddock-style access. The categories differ from one venue to the next, so always check the details on each race page.
Booking early for the F1 2027 calendar
Popular races such as Monaco, Silverstone, Monza and Las Vegas tend to sell their best grandstands first. Reserving early gives you more choice of view, and it spreads out the cost of flights and accommodation. Use the Tickets button on each race page to see the categories currently offered by our partner ticket sellers, and remember that live prices appear there rather than in our articles.

The F1 2027 grid: teams and drivers
Eleven teams are listed for 2027, including Audi and Cadillac, who joined the grid in 2026. Most line-ups are confirmed, but Haas and Racing Bulls still show both seats as to be announced, so we make no guess about who will fill them.
For a team-by-team breakdown, including engine suppliers and bases, visit our F1 teams 2027 guide. If you prefer to follow individuals, the F1 drivers 2027 page lists everyone confirmed so far. Lando Norris is the reigning drivers' champion from 2025, while Kimi Antonelli currently leads the 2026 standings.
Planning your F1 2027 trip beyond the circuit
A Grand Prix weekend is more than three days at the track. Book accommodation as soon as your dates are fixed, because host cities fill up fast, particularly Monaco, Madrid, Las Vegas and Singapore. Staying slightly outside the centre often gives better value, as long as you check the transport links to the circuit.
Build in a buffer day on each side for delays, and look at the weather history of your chosen month. Gulf rounds are hot, European summer can swing between sun and storms, and late-season races in the Americas can bring rain.
