Formula E 2026-27 calendar: every E-Prix, date and venue

The Formula E 2026-27 calendar runs to 21 races across 13 events, opening in Jeddah in December 2026 and finishing in Tokyo in July 2027. This page lists every E-Prix with its dates, explains how to pick the right round, and sets out what we know about the new Gen4 era, the teams and the build-up to ticket sales.

Formula E 2026-27 calendar at a glance

The Formula E 2026-27 calendar was released in June 2026 and contains 21 races spread over 13 events. The season starts in December 2026 and ends in July 2027, so it straddles the new year in the same way as many winter sports. Every round currently carries confirmed status, and no event is listed as to be confirmed.

Season 13 matters because it introduces the Gen4 car, rated at 600 kW with all-wheel drive available throughout a race. The field also changes: DS Automobiles has left, Opel and Citroën arrive as new teams, and Porsche now runs one factory team plus a customer operation. Last season's drivers' title went to Pascal Wehrlein, his second, while Jaguar TCS Racing took the teams' crown.

For fans who like to plan, the calendar is unusually global: the Middle East, Latin America, North America, China, Japan and a run of European weekends from Monaco to Madrid. Start from the Motorsport calendar 2027 if you want to compare Formula E with other series.

Teams and drivers on the Formula E grid

Who has confirmed a line-up for Formula E 2026-27

Several line-ups are already listed. Envision Racing has Maximilian Günther and Zak O'Sullivan, Mahindra Racing has Nyck de Vries and Edoardo Mortara, and Nissan has Zane Maloney and Oliver Rowland. Citroën Racing, a new entrant, lists Jean-Éric Vergne and Nick Cassidy. Andretti pairs Jake Dennis with Felipe Drugovich, and the new Opel team has Mitch Evans and Théo Pourchaire.

Seats still to be announced in the Formula E field

Not everything is settled. Cupra Kiro has Pepe Martí but is yet to name a second driver, and Jaguar TCS Racing has António Félix da Costa with a second seat still open. Fortescue Zero Racing, Lola Yamaha, the Porsche factory team and the new Porsche customer team have not announced drivers. We will update this page as seats are filled.

Manufacturers on the grid include Jaguar, Mahindra, Nissan, Citroën, Opel, Porsche and Lola-Yamaha, which makes Season 13 one of the most varied in the championship's history.

How to choose your Formula E weekend

Double-headers versus single-race Formula E rounds

Eight of the 13 events are double-headers: Jeddah, Monaco, Berlin, London, Zandvoort, Madrid, Shanghai and Tokyo all run two races. If you are travelling a long way, a two-race weekend gives you far more for your journey. Single-race rounds, such as Mexico City, Austin, Miami, São Paulo and Sanya, are compact one-day affairs.

Best Formula E rounds for a European trip

For fans based in Europe, the May and June stretch is the easiest to build a trip around. Monaco, Berlin, London, Zandvoort and Madrid arrive in quick succession, and the first-ever Formula E race at Zandvoort adds extra curiosity. The Brands Hatch race in Kent is a change from the ExCeL London finale of 2026.

Formula E weekends outside Europe

Long-haul rounds suit travellers who want more than a race. Think of Tokyo's waterfront, Shanghai's big permanent circuit or the Austin round, which is the first Formula E race at the Circuit of the Americas. Check visa rules early for Saudi Arabia and China.

Formula E tickets and when to buy

Tickets are not on sale yet for the Formula E 2026-27 calendar. When they open, our partner ticket sellers will list the categories for each E-Prix, and the Tickets button on each event page will show the live options. We do not publish prices here because they change by event and by category.

Our advice: register for the alert on this page, then decide on your priority rounds. Street races usually have fewer seats with a clear view of the track, so the better categories can go first. For double-headers you can often compare one-day and weekend options, and it is worth checking the rules on resale before you buy. Our F1 and motorsport tickets 2027 guide explains how ticket categories and resale generally work.

If you are combining a race with a holiday, the Motorsport travel guides 2027 cover transport, accommodation zones and weather for many rounds, and you can return to the Motorsport 2027 homepage for the full list of series.
