IndyCar Gateway 2027 date and status

The Bommarito Automotive Group 500 is provisionally scheduled for Sunday 13 June 2027, with the weekend opening on Friday 11 June. The 2026 edition took place on 7 June. As with the rest of the early calendar, the date is provisional and will be confirmed when the series publishes its full schedule.

It follows IndyCar Detroit and precedes IndyCar Road America, which means a street course, an oval and a road course on three consecutive June rounds.

Why IndyCar Gateway delivers close racing

The track is an oval near the Mississippi River side of the St. Louis area. Ovals produce tight packs, drafting and frequent position swaps, and from the grandstands you can follow the whole field in one glance.

We do not yet have confirmed grandstand names, so we stay general. Higher rows give a broader view of the whole oval, and seats nearer the front straight offer the start and pit lane activity. Check the ticket map when categories are listed.

Tickets are not on sale yet. When categories appear, use the Tickets button on this page to see them. We do not quote prices because they depend on seat type and timing.

Madison is across the river from St. Louis, so many fans stay in the city and drive across. Allow generous time for arrival and departure, as traffic can build near the venue. June can be hot, so bring sun cream, water and ear protection. Session times will be released by the organiser a few weeks before the event.

Combining IndyCar Gateway with other rounds
